The National Trust is responsible for the care and maintenance of some of the UK’s most precious resources – pieces of natural and built heritage that are an intrinsic part of our history and civilisation.

As well as maintenance projects the Trust regularly engages in urgent restoration and conservation work through its charity appeals scheme and visitors to NT properties are invited to cast their votes for priority projects through a ‘coin drop’ scheme. Since the National Trust prides itself on being an environmentally conscious organisation, they came to us seeking an option that would be a clear visual representation of their ethos.

After sharing many ideas together, we developed some beautiful, tactile basswood coins, laser engraved with the Trust’s signature ‘leaf’ logo. The deadline on this project was extremely tight so MEDAEO facilitated part shipments to each of the 14 pilot sites ensuring that the launch of the revamped scheme could take place on schedule.
